There's this trend going about on the internet: people are saying that jQuery is not suitable for large appliations.

Now that's some discovery, you experts!

jQuery was never meant to be used in Javascript intense applications. It does not even make sense since it's a freaking DOM Manipulation Library (not even a framework, that is).

So, to the experts bashing jQuery like this, especially the ones speaking out of experience: why would you want to light a fire with a snowball? Also, is it the snowball's fault, or your own dumb-ass' fault for even trying?
